When VFW Post 9126 moved its Charter from Cheyenne to Glenpool, the OK VFW Foundation assisted the Post to facilitate a $1,300 donation on December 19th, 2019 to the Roger Mills Circle of Care Food Program.

In partnership with the Department of Oklahoma VFW, the Oklahoma VFW Foundation provided Grants to a number of active Honor Guard units throughout Oklahoma.
A $700 Grant was presented to the Blanchard Veterans Honor Guard, which is made of of local veterans, most of whom are members of the Blanchard VFW and American Legion Posts. This was awarded on July 2nd, 2020 at Blanchard's Independence Day

A $700 Grant was presented to the Del City VFW Post 9969 Honor Guard. This was awarded on July 9th, 2020 at VFW Post 9969's monthly Post meeting.

The Oklahoma VFW approved a budget to substantially increase the amount of money it spends on its Veterans Service Officer Program, which assists veterans and their families to file and follow up on claims within the VA system.
As the Service Officer program is one of the key programs of the Oklahoma VFW Foundation, the Foundation made a donation to this program in the amount of $5,000 on July 13th
As part of the Oklahoma VFW Foundation's mission to support Oklahoma Honor Guard units, on July 14th, 2020, Executive Director Fischer presented a $700 grant to the Honor Guard of VFW Post 1317 located in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
The grant was presented at the VFW Post's meeting to Honor Guard Commander Don Plumley with a number of Honor Guard members also in attendence
At the Oklahoma VFW District 5 meeting held in Mannford, OK on August 2nd, the Oklahoma VFW Foundation was honored to present a $2,000 grant to the District 5 Honor Guard.
This Honor Guard is arguably the most active Honor Guard in the state of Oklahoma performing services at veterans' funerals 2-3 times a week, and will often travel out of state.
